You can easily create a screenshot or select a part of your screen with an Apple keyboard.
Create a screenshot of the entire screen
To create a screenshot of your current screen, press the 'command', 'shift', and '3' keys simultaneously.

Using this combination, a screenshot will be saved on your desktop. The file will be saved with the following file name: 'Screenshot <date> at <time>.png'.
If you are using macOS Mojave or newer, the image will be showed shortly in the bottom right corner of your scrreen. You can click on this temporary preview to modify the image to your liking. You can then make simple changes such as cropping, adding text, and painting basic shapes.
If you do not click on the preview, it will disappear within a few seconds and save the screenshot on your desktop automatically.
Create a screenshot of a part of your screen
Similarly, you can create a screenshot of a part of your screen. To do this, press the 'command', 'shift', and '4' keys. Your cursor will transform into a selection tool, after which you can select the desired part of your screen.

Your screenshot will then be saved to your desktop. If you are using macOS Mojave or newer, you will see a brief preview in the bottom right corner of your screen. Selecting the preview enables you to modify the screenshot before saving it.
You can use this method to create a screenshot of a specific application's window. Use the same key combination; command + shift + 4. This time however, press the spacebar to be able to select the window you would like to save as a screenshot.
If you want to share this with us, open your control panel after having saved the screenshot. Click on the 'Contact' button and press 'Contact us'.
Select a subject on the left side of the screen and click on 'Select file' afterwards. Select the image that you have just saved, and type your message to our support heroes.
You have now made a screenshot, saved it, and sent it to our support department! You will reveice a reply from us as soon as possible.
