The username of users on your CentOS 7 VPS can be easily changed using command-line via SSH, or the VPS console. There are three options, depending on which user you want to change the password for:

your own password:
passwd -
the root password:
There are two options: the first option is to first switch to the root user and then change the password:or adjust the root password directly:su root passwdsudo passwd
